I found Shrinky Dink paper at the craft store today. I haven't seen that stuff since the 80's. Tonight for Family Night we made Christmas ornaments with them. The kids traced and colored Christmas pictures onto the thin flimsy shrinky dink paper. They cut them out and punched a whole in the top.
We then laid them on a cookie sheet in the oven and the kids watched as they curled, twisted, shrunk and then finally laid flat. This was the best part by far! They were amazed at how small and hard they became. Fun activity to do with the kids.
