Ostler "Kid-isms"… On Halloween night Gray turned in his candy(candy doesn't go to bed with the kids, we keep it out on a shelf in the office) and was getting ready for bed. He didn't realize that the big kids had just finished up round 2 of trick or treating and were now in the living room trading their candy with each other. As soon as he saw them he ran back into the office and frantically yelled, "Mom, can I have my bucket back and go to the candy picnic with the other kids?" LOL… super cute Then later that night Dan was tucking Kase in bed and Kase said, "Dad, are you going to eat my candy tonight?" Dan said, "Of course not ". Then Kase said, "Dad did you know that whales have belly buttons?" Dan starting laughing at the random subject change and said, "really how to you know that?" Kase said, "I read it in a book of facts from the school library." KAse then asked, "Do you want to know another fact?" Sure. "90% of parents eat their kids Halloween Candy." Dan's response, "I don't know how accurate that book is Kase...I'm pretty sure it's more like 99%. Hahaha Night" I love our kids.
