High School Musical

Dan and I took the kids to the High School Musical Play in Portland on Friday. 

The kids had a blast! They love going to plays, and especially loved seeing a different version of one of their favorite movies as a play.

Some of their favorite parts of the play were when the basketballs dropped down from the ceiling right into the players hands, the noise ball game, when Gabriella and Troy kissed (oo,la,la), and they loved the explosion of confetti that was shot out into the audience at the end.

We sat in the fifth row, front and center. 

After the play was over we went outside to walk to our car. As we turned the corner we saw a crowd forming right outside a side door to the theater where people were waiting for autographs. The kids wanted to jump right in there and were able to get several of the cast members autographs. (This is Gabriella signing Alaina's program.)
